The GMC CCKW 353 is a 2.5 ton 6×6 all wheel drive truck built for the U.S. Army during WW2. Known as the “Jimmy” or “Deuce and a Half,” the CCKW 353 was a long-wheelbase cargo truck that served as the primary logistical backbone for Allied forces, transporting troops, supplies, and equipment. It was powered by a GMC 270 cubic inch inline-six gasoline engine and was highly reliable and versatile, with many specialized variants also produced.

Our GMC was manufactured in June 1944. It is an open cab variant. It has the heavy winch fitted to the front.
