This very rare truck is for sale. A complete and original Renault AHN heavy Lorry. A true barn find, these types of heavy trucks were produced as part of a German Army contract in France after 1941. After the end of WW2 this particular truck which is an AHN 3 (2000 were produced between 1946 and 1947) was used for a period of time by a French Transport Company. It was then laid-up in a barn until it was discovered and used in a feature film as a battle damaged truck. We purchased this truck and it is scheduled for restoration in 2019.

The truck is mostly restored with very little to do to finish. It is starting and running under its own power. We are using the original engine, gearbox and clutch.Re-cored Radiator. Changed to 12 volt. We have fitted new brake parts and new tyres.We have replaced all the hardwood floor, seats and tilt slats.
The following is the list of what needs to be done to finish.
Adjust all brakes to balance and make good.
Install or repair fuel tank. At present running off auxiliary tank.
Rewire lights which are all in place. No broken glass.
Make/fit tail gate.
Make good (welding) rear wheel arches at top.(see photo)
Oil changes all round.

Current Sale Price is £9,000. fixed. When complete this truck will be worth more than £14,000 due to its rarity.
